Working in the field of renewable energies since 1994 in West- und East-Africa, South-America and Asia, as consultant, developer, team leader and solar engineer.
More than 30 years of experience in the field of solar technology, mostly in Africa. Co-founder of several companies and NGO´s in Africa (Ghana, Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania).
Awarded by Harvard-University in Bosten/USA in 2006 for a multi-year pilot project "Extraction of bio fuel and operation of several mini grids" in Mali, Ghana and Tanzania in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation.
Respected partner of many organisations for international development cooperation.
Developer of the solar training system "Solar Coach" as well as the plug and play solar systems "Solar Light Box"and "Power Tower". Partner in development of the data logging system
"Power-Control" for the monitoring of complex power supply systems.
Co-founder and coordinator of the foundation "SOLidarity", which was supporting the implementation of solar power systems for hospitals in Africa.
Founder and coordinator of the initiative "Aktion Lichtbox" for the implementation of "Solar Light Box" to provide a reliable solar power supply in 100 health stations in Ghana.
Head of the department "Projects in Africa" and project manager for more than 20 years at Energiebau Solarstromsysteme GmbH in Cologne/Germany. Recently, project manager at Segen Solar GmbH, subsidary of Segen Ltd., the largest dealer of solar technology in UK.

Founder and CEO of "Renerg(R) Ltd company, based in Kigali.
Eight years of experience as project engineer and team leader for sophisticated solar power systems and SolarHybrid-systems in Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, Malawi as well as Ghana and Sierra Leone.
Founder of "Kigali Solar Academy in Rwanda ", experienced teacher in the field of "Photovoltaik, special designs for tropical zones in Africa" as well as "Inverter- und Battery-technology".
Planer and licensed operator of a SolarHybrid-System (Mini Grid) to supply electricity 24/7 to the village of Banda in Rwanda.
George Weru

Birth 24. December 1980
Educated at Nairobi university, "Engineering of renewable energies".
CEO of SolarWorks company, based in Nairobi, founded in 2010.
More than 10 years experience in the field of project planning
and installation in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan.
Team leader during the installation of 515 kWpeak solar power system, roof top, for the new UN office block in Nairobi.
Stefan Renger

Birth 05. March, 1960
Engineer in electro technology and electronics.
Founder and CEO of the company AER, based in Ellefeld / Germany, specialised in computer based solar control units, (SolarHybrid controller)
Field experience in Kenya, Malawi, Ghana and Egypt, where he has integrated the "AER-SolarHybrid-Controller", which is able to synchronize up to 4 Diesel-GenSets and a big solar array.
